Artifical Surface Audit - The Basic Audit

Site History

In discussion with the client TTS will record the usage and maintenance practices of the pitch and any other factors that may affect pitch performance.

Present surface conditions

This will include:

A visual check of the playing area and surrounds, including the condition of the carpet, fibres and infill (including a check for damage to seams, high wear areas or collapsed carpet pile)
Check of the drainage system inspection pits.

Surface health and safety check

A visual check on the pitch and fence surrounds to ensure that there are no trip hazards or any faults with the fencing or pitch furniture that may be a hazard to pitch users.

Pitch furniture check

A visual check to verify that the pitch furniture conforms to BSEN 748 (2004) and BS 8462 (2005).
