Design

When designing an artificial turf facility, TTS will ensure that the facility design and the materials utilised in construction, comply with the required standards set out by governing bodies such as the Football Association, International Hockey Federation (FIH), and The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF).

TTS will make certain that all aspects of the facility design, from the surface to the type of fencing, are discussed with the client to ensure that a ‘Best Value’ system is specified.

Refurbishment

At any point in the lifespan of an artificial turf pitch, a site visited can be arranged for TTS to inspect and report on the condition of the pitch. The report will highlight existing problems and also include recommendations for future maintenance, possible surface replacement and outline future costs.

Testing

TTS offer a range of performance testing programmes to ensure that the surface conforms to the relevant governing body’s performance quality standards.

For qualification for the FIFA 1*/2 * rating or for surfaces to be used for elite sport, TTS can arrange for a licensed test house to test the surface for ball/surface and player/surface interactions.
