Design

Each total-play design takes into account site-specific characteristics, the client's needs and are all generated in accordance with Performance Quality Standards (PQS) and the ECB TS6 "Technical Requirements and Performance Specification for Non-Turf Cricket pitches 'The Standard"

The submitted design, depending on specific requirements, will include the following:
  • design dimensions, elevations, gradients and volumes
  • drainage system design including outfalls and elevations
  • detailed specifications of works and quality assurance procedure
  • material specifications and quality assurance
  • site plans by Computer Aided Designs (CAD)
  • Total Station Digital Terrain 3D Modeling (DTM)

Build

At every stage of the build total-play’s 'Quality Assurance Process' ensures that fundamental parts of the project are assessed to ensure high standards are kept. This involves on site testing of each component.
Using the Performance Quality Standards (PQS) stated testing procedure each stage is approved using the following:

  • Clegg impact hammer
  • Ball bounce
  • Straight edge
  • Total Station Surveying Equipment or Laser Level
