Consultancy
TTS is a solutions driven organisation priding itself on answering any sports surface challenges, including drainage, construction, and agronomy.
All specifications are in accordance with the Institute of Groundsmanship (IOG) Performance Quality Standards (PQS). PQS are a requisite design benchmark of all funding applications. Once contacted, one of our technical consultants will discuss the proposed project and if required, conduct an on site meeting. Following discussions, a proposal will be submitted detailing the required service and fee structure. Clients have the option of using the phases outlined below, or requesting a service from us which suits them.

Phase One: Investigation
The purpose of this phase is to investigate and understand all the issues. Communication between client and consultant is vital along with a thorough inspection of the site or surface, including laboratory tests. Once the facts are established, a feasibility study will present the findings. The report will identify the problem, the solution and outline industrial costs.
Phase Two: Solution
This phase puts forward the solution in the form of a design specification.
To provide a basis for contractor procurement detailed specifications
and a bill of quantities are produced. Each design is tailored to
suit individual clients and fulfil Performance Quality Standards
(PQS) required by governing bodies of sport and funding agencies.
Phase Three: Implementation
Phase 3 is the practical execution of the project. This includes
contractor procurement and supervision. To ensure the potential
of the design contractor monitoring is crucial. This includes quality
control of materials, sequence of operations, design interpretation,
and project sign-off.
Phase Four: Management
The sustainability and potential of any project is controlled by how the surface is maintained and prepared. Phase 4 supports the client by providing all the necessary information for a client to optimise their playing surfaces;
- a detailed schedule of operations
- working practices
- material specifications
- equipment recommendations
